The Sant Nirankari Mission (also known as Universal Brotherhood Mission) is a spiritual organization. The Sant Nirankari Mission identifies itself as "neither a new religion nor a sect of an existing religion, but an all-embracing spiritual movement dedicated to human welfare by helping seekers realize God through the grace of a living true master (satguru)".
The Mission seeks to reveal God realization, also known as 'Nirankar', to all human beings irrespective of their religious faith, sect, or community they're born with and thus liberate them from the shackles of ignorance, superstition, ritualism, and dogmatism in the name of devotion to God.
In the Sant Nirankari Mission, a follower or a "nirankari" strives to live a saintly life by embodying virtues such as truth, love, tolerance, compassion, and selfless service. Being a "nirankari" means embracing the mission's principle of Sewa, which involves fulfilling our responsibility as humans to serve others without expecting anything in return.
This is seen as a blessing from God, and the mission and its devotees have made efforts to reach out to society through various initiatives such as blood donation camps, value-based education centers, mass marriages, disaster relief, tree planting, cleanliness drives, and social awareness campaigns. Even during the Covid-19 pandemic, the Sant Nirankari Mission contributed to society in various ways.
The Sant Nirankari Mission is an all-embracing socio-spiritual dynamic and practical movement committed to establishing and maintaining love, peace, equality, oneness and a world without walls, without any prejudice or discrimination. The mission strives to achieve this first in their own lives and then in the lives of other brothers and sisters of the common humankind. They believe that realizing their true self by knowing God in the true and absolute manifestation through a living master, called Satguru, is the only way to achieve this. The blissful state of mind can be experienced, shared and elevated when they connect with other enlightened souls at regularly organized Satsangs and Samagams.
Since its inception, the Mission has been serving its purpose under the guidance and blessings of various spiritual gurus. As desired and blessed by the fifth Nirankari Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj, Mata Sudiksha Ji has been declared as sixth Nirankari Satguru and the spiritual head of the Sant Nirankari Mission from 17 July 2018.
